IF THIS OCCURS, THE A-PILLAR APPLIQUE TRIM, WHICH BORDERS THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD, MAY BE LOOSE, MISSING OR BECOME DETACHED WHILE DRIVING AND CAN CREATE A ROAD HAZARD FOR OTHER ROAD USERS, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH and ON THE VEHICLE, THE REAR VIEW CAMERA COULD DISPLAY A BLANK OR DISTORTED IMAGE ON THE CENTER DISPLAY SCREEN WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN REVERSE. YOU MAY ALSO RECEIVE A MESSAGE THAT THE REAR VIEW CAMERA IS UNAVAILABLE ON THE CENTER DISPLAY SCREEN. A REAR VIEW CAMERA THAT DISPLAYS A BLANK OR DISTORTED IMAGE WHILE IN REVERSE CAN REDUCE OR DISTORT THE DRIVERS VIEW OF WHAT IS BEHIND THE VEHICLE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH, but a remedy for this recall does not appear to be available. Dealer is not authorized to perform the recall repair.
