Title Information
Effective August 2025, all titles issued after a sale will be completed exactly as the bidder is registered in the Proxibid system. This means the name and business (if applicable) used during bidder registration will be the name used on the title document following a successful purchase.
This change ensures a streamlined and secure process, reduces documentation errors, and aligns with best practices in the auction industry. It is designed to protect both our buyers and sellers by ensuring accuracy and accountability.
We strongly encourage all bidders to review and update their registration information before participating in upcoming auctions. Requests to change the information on the title after the sale will no longer be accommodated.
What this means for bidders:
- The name on your bidder profile is what will appear on the title.
- Please make sure your registration reflects the correct legal entity or individual name before placing a bid.
- Title changes after the sale will not be allowed.
- To title units in multiple different names or addresses, a new Proxibid account must be created for each and bid accordingly.
- If titling in a COMPANY/BUSINESS name – company name needs to be entered into Proxibid account in the Business Account Information field and its address into Proxibid’s billing information. If titling in your PERSONAL name – Business Account Information in Proxibid must be left blank and personal name and address entered into your Proxibid billing information.
This change will enhance security, reduce fraud risk, and provide a smoother post-sale experience for our customers.
