Registration

How do I register for one of your auctions?

Live Auctions

You can register in person during inspection day, one to two days before the auction, as well as anytime during sale day. Registration dates, times and hours vary by sale site.

Live auctions in California hold inspection day the Thursday and Friday before the sale from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST. All other live auctions hold inspection the day before the sale from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. On sale day, auction sites open two hours before the start of the sale for registration. You can register on-site in our office.

If you register online to attend a live event, there will be a dedicated area for Express Registration. Learn more about pre-registering online for live auctions.

Online Auctions

We conduct our online bidding through Proxibid, a third-party provider that manages a platform for auctions and payment processing. Learn more about how to create an account and register for our online auctions.

Do I have to be a dealer to attend your auctions?

Anyone can attend our auctions. You do not have to be a dealer to purchase.

In rare cases, some items are only available for auction to licensed automotive dealers. Those items are noted as “Dealer, Out of State” both online and in the auction catalog. This note means that you must be a licensed automotive dealer or that you must live out of the state of the auction sale to purchase those items. Generally, those requirements are in place to comply with state or local laws, such as emission regulations. The vast majority of auction inventory is available to anyone who has a valid, government-issued photo ID.

What do I need to register?

  • A valid, government-issued ID (i.e. driver’s license or passport)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older (Some auction locations require attendees to be at least 16 years of age to enter the property)
  • Complete company name, address, telephone number and contact name if purchasing
  • Copy of dealer and resale certificate if you are a dealer
